Dunchurch Community Library is supported by the Parish Council and the books are supplied by Warwickshire County Council Library service. However, all the running costs for the library have to be covered by fundraising events and voluntary donations.
If you have any fundraising ideas or would like to help with any of our events and activities please contact the library - see panel at side for details.
Since we opened as a Community Library in April 2012 we have held monthly events to raise money - see our archive of events in 2012 and 2013.
So far in 2015 we have held an art display during which local artist Victoria Parsons answered questions on multimedia techniques, and an ever-popular fashion show. Events held in 2014 started with a talk on writing your own autobiography, which resulted in a class being held on Monday evenings, and continued with a varied programme including the highly successful talk and exhibition by footballer Alan Hodgkinson, a guide to the butterflies you may see in Dunchurch, and a fascinating talk on how to heat your home efficiently.
